About the role
Source Supply are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term supply position in a primary school setting.
The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will be warm, professional and engaging, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. You will be joining a vibrant primary school where curiosity is celebrated, kindness is encouraged and every child is supported to reach their full potential.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing classroom support, assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will support pupils through individual 1:1 learning support and small group activities, helping to develop their confidence, independence and academic progress.
You will also play an important role in supporting children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and adapting learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.

Requirements
All successful applicants will:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Have referenceable experience working in a primary school or other school setting.
- Be passionate about education and supporting children’s learning and development.
- Be confident providing both 1:1 support and small group learning activities.
- Have a good understanding of classroom support and the needs of primary-aged children.
- Demonstrate a patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a positive, proactive and can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
