We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Source Supply are a named supplier on Government Commercial Agency (GCA) RM6376 Supply Teachers and Education Lot 1 Framework.
Running from April 2026 until April 2029, the framework aims to improve transparency, compliance and value for money for schools and multi-academy trusts by creating a simpler, more streamlined approach for staff procurement. As well as a price cap on supplier fees, the Department for Education (DfE) recommends schools use their framework to benefit from:
• transparent costs,
• free temporary-to-permanent provisions after 12 weeks,
• expert support to deal with disputes, and
• complete background and safeguarding checks.
All single and multi-academy trusts will be expected to procure staff through a framework from September 2026 (and local authority schools encouraged to do the same) to ensure that they are procuring staff in a compliant manner. Trusts must use the GCA framework unless they can secure an alternative framework or contract which is in line with the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23), is subject to the financial thresholds and does not exceed the rates available through the GCA framework.
As a REC Education audited agency that prides itself on having a personal and honest approach, securing a place on the framework is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our experienced and professional team.
Our approval won’t change much about the way we work – we’ve always been transparent about our rates and diligent in our approach to compliance, but it will give us the opportunity to work with a wider range of multi or single academy trusts and schools who use the framework to procure supply teachers and support staff.
If you’re a MAT, SAT or local authority school in Teesside, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire or North Nottinghamshire, our friendly and reliable consultants are on-hand to discuss how we can best support your staffing as a Lot 1 supplier.
