Source Supply are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a safe and nurturing primary school in Billingham, starting from January 2027 to the end of the academic year.  

About the role 

The school require an EYFS Teaching Assistant with a passion for encouraging young people to explore, grow and succeed.  

The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will be able to build strong connections with young learners and their families, be a trusted and encouraging presence who always ensures the safety of children, and ensures parents feel informed and involved in their children’s progression.   

If you have a genuine love for working with young children and hold a DfE-recognised early years qualification, we would love to hear from you.  

Requirements 

All successful applicants will:  

• Hold a DfE recognised/relevant level 3 qualification. 
• Must have Paediatric First Aid (PFA) Training.
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Have a nurturing, patient and consistent approach. 
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude. 
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
