The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Taking responsibility for the class and maintaining continuity of learning.
• Following lesson plans and adapting activities to meet pupils’ needs.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes.
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress, confidence and development.
• Differentiating activities to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school staff.
• Maintaining a safe learning environment and following safeguarding procedures.
• Adapting confidently to different primary school settings.

Teaching opportunities may be available across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Requirements

To be considered for our Primary Teacher opportunities, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• A good understanding of the primary national curriculum.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to deliver engaging lessons and support pupils’ progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for children’s learning and development.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• The ability to adapt to different schools and classroom environments.
