Role: Primary Teacher – Year 4

Salary: £135-£232.57 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and reflective Year 4 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at a welcoming and inclusive school in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, demonstrating a strong commitment to securing excellent outcomes for all pupils through high-quality teaching, purposeful assessment and a clear understanding of how children learn best. You will deliver an ambitious, carefully sequenced and engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires pupils, builds secure foundations for future learning and promotes sustained progress. With high expectations for every child, you will adapt your teaching effectively to meet diverse needs, ensuring that disadvantaged pupils and pupils with SEND receive the support, challenge and opportunities they need to succeed.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
