Role: Teaching Assistant – Year 2

About the role
Source Supply is currently seeking to appoint a committed and professional Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a well-established and supportive primary school in the Chesterfield area. This is a full-time position, working five days per week within a mainstream Year 2 classroom.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the class teacher to support the planning and delivery of effective learning activities, contribute to the implementation of an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, and provide targeted support to pupils to promote positive learning outcomes. The role will involve supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and social and emotional wellbeing, ensuring that all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
