Role: Teaching Assistant – KS1

Salary: £95-£105 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role
Source Supply are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher in a Year 1/2 classroom. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils’ learning, development and well-being, helping to create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities will include working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning, supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs, assisting with classroom activities and resources, and promoting positive behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a patient and nurturing approach, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for helping young children grow in confidence, independence and achievement.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
