Role: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95-£105 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role
We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our Year 3 classroom and become an integral part of our dedicated primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about primary education and committed to making a positive and lasting difference to children’s learning, progress, confidence and wellbeing.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum. You will provide effective one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to develop their knowledge, skills, confidence and independence while ensuring they are fully engaged in their learning.

A key focus of this role will be supporting pupils with Maths and Phonics, helping children to strengthen their core skills, address gaps in learning and make good progress. You may also support targeted learning interventions, reinforce classroom teaching and provide additional encouragement to pupils who may benefit from extra support.

The successful candidate will be nurturing, patient, proactive and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential. You will have a positive and inclusive approach to supporting children with a range of learning needs and abilities, and be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
