Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working as a teacher within a primary or secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and effective classroom teaching strategies.
• Ability to confidently deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across different year groups and abilities.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms, teaching styles and learning environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• A flexible and reliable approach to day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply teaching.
• Ability to work independently while following school policies, procedures and lesson plans.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively at short notice.
