Role: Primary Teacher – PPA Cover
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £130-£232.57 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Contract: Long Term Supply – Temporary

About the role
Source Supply are currently seeking a committed and experienced PPA Teacher to join a welcoming school and provide high-quality teaching across a range of year groups and subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, building positive relationships with pupils and making a real difference to their learning.

The role is required from September 2026 and you will be required to work on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress where required.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
