About the role
Source Supply is delighted to be working in partnership with a range of primary schools across the Sheffield area, recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated, and committed Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day, short-term, and long-term classroom support.

With immediate starts available, these flexible opportunities are ideal for both newly qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants who are looking to broaden their experience across a variety of school settings while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Roles are available across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), giving you the opportunity to work with pupils of different ages and abilities while making a real difference in their learning and development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning within the classroom, provide one-to-one support where required, and lead small intervention and booster groups, delivering targeted sessions in core subjects such as English and Mathematics. Your role will be key in helping pupils build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
