About the role
Source Supply are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our specialist IR Unit in Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional learning and emotional needs within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the IR Unit on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist with delivering tailored learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
