About the role
Source Supply are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning during a key stage of their development.

Position Details:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Until Summer Term
• Working Pattern: Flexible – full-time or job share (3 days per week considered)

The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Year 2 class, supporting pupils in achieving their full potential as they approach the end of Key Stage 1. The role includes planning, marking, and assessment, as well as contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
