About the role
Source Supply are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to start a full-time role at a primary school in Doncaster – DN7. The role is due to start at the beginning of May 2026 and is required until the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils at a key stage in their development, providing targeted support in literacy and phonics using the Read Write Inc. programme.

The Role:

• Provide in-class support within a Year 2 setting
• Deliver small group and 1:1 intervention
• Support pupils with reading, writing, and phonics using Read Write Inc.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging learning environment
• Help manage behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
