About the role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Worksop, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking for a consistent, teaching commitment across three days per week.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5 class, supporting pupils’ academic progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy
- Provide feedback to class teachers following lessons
- Support the school’s ethos and wider school community
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
