Source Supply are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, conscientious, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the Year 3 team within a large, culturally diverse, and inclusive primary school in Sheffield. Working under the guidance and supervision of the class teacher and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom support and deliver targeted interventions to meet the needs of all learners. The role will involve supporting pupils’ academic achievement alongside their social and emotional development, ensuring that barriers to learning are identified and effectively addressed.

The successful applicant will also contribute to the planning, preparation, and evaluation of learning activities, supporting the delivery of a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum in line with national expectations. A proactive and flexible approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education will be essential for success in this role.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
