A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, skilled and highly motivated teacher to join our warm and welcoming primary school community in Chesterfield.
A small, nurturing and inclusive primary school at the heart of the local community, where strong relationships, high expectations and a genuine commitment to every child underpin all that we do. Due to continued development within the school, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Year 5 Class Teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning and who shares our ambition for every child to succeed both academically and personally.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher looking to develop their practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 5 class and will play an important role in ensuring pupils experience a stimulating, engaging and ambitious curriculum. We are looking for someone who can inspire curiosity, promote independence and foster a love of learning while maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
