Source Supply are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, conscientious, and committed Teaching Assistant to join a Year 4 team within a large, culturally diverse and inclusive primary school in Sheffield. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who is dedicated to supporting high standards of teaching and learning, and who is passionate about enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential within a nurturing and aspirational environment.

Working under the direction and supervision of the class teacher and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom support and deliver targeted interventions. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress, as well as their social and emotional development, ensuring that barriers to learning are effectively addressed.
The role will involve contributing to the planning, preparation, and evaluation of learning activities, and supporting the implementation of a broad and balanced curriculum in line with national expectations.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
