Source Supply is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in central Chesterfield. The school is ideally located with excellent public transport links.

The successful Teaching Assistant will spend their mornings supporting teaching and learning in a Year 3 class, before delivering targeted intervention sessions across a range of year groups in the afternoons. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ progress and development throughout the school.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who brings a calm, nurturing, and supportive approach. They will have the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff and experience supporting children with additional or special educational needs (SEND) would be beneficial.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Have experience working with children in a school or specialist setting
• Be nurturing, patient and consistent in their approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle
